I use a mod called Improved Gamepad Steering. It hasn't been updated for some time and when comparing the mods physics.sii to the current 1.28 physics.sii I noticed some changes and that is what my question is about. The newest 1.28 physics.sii has 2 new sections that the older physics.sii file doesn't have....

trailer_joint_pitch: 20
trailer_joint_roll: 3
spreader_joint_pitch: 5
spreader_joint_roll: 3

manual_clutch_viscosity_factor: 0.5
manual_clutch_connected_viscosity_factor: 10.0
# torque converter strength
torque_converter_viscosity_factor: 0.3
torque_converter_locked_viscosity_factor: 10.0

The old physics.sii in the mod also has a section that the new physics.sii file doesn't have....

# braking difficulty in bad weather
# 0 no weather influence
# 1 no friction
rain_braking_difficulty: 0.2
snow_braking_difficulty: 0.4

I really need to use the improved gamepad steering mod because for me it really smooths out the steering and gets rid of the "twitchiness" for me. I tried using his modified numbers in the new 1.28 physics.sii but the the twitchiness returned, not quite as bad as without the mod but still noticable. I want to keep using the mod with the old physics.sii but my concern is what effect it will have on the game using a physics.sii without those 2 sections and with it having the extra bad weather section.
