Loodetavasti jagub meile pigem Soome poolt kraami.
Kellel huvi, siis on juba võimalik väheseid Baltikumi DLC tekstuure, liiklusmärke, piiriületuspunkte jms. juba 1.31 betas näha map editorist. Senine esmamulje on väga hea.

Muidugi promodsil jälle võimalus see juurde ehitada. Martinus, sa mõtled tallinna ringi all seda, mis on seal jüri lähedal?

Jep, eks seda on viimastel aastatel väga korralikult arendatud ja praegugi on ju Lagedi juures töö käimas - plaanide järgi peaks saama ju kuskil 2020ndatel sõita Keilast Väosse välja mööda 2+2 teed. Tallinna Lennujaama probleem ProModsis oli lihtsalt see, et ProModsi Tallinn ehitati ju mingi aastal 2013, standardid olid neil palju madalamad tol ajal.

So in this post I am going to express my thoughts about the cities and towns which could be implemented into the Baltic DLC.
First of all, there's a few differences between the countries. Although Lithuania has a bit larger area than Latvia, Latvia has a bigger room for cities. Why? Lithuania has quite a round outline, and the biggest cities are close to each other. Latvia, instead, has the Gulf of Rīga (Liivi laht, if I remember correctly) between the two coasts. Liepāja, Ventspils, Rīga are located by the sea, which means that there's plenty of space. And Rēzekne, Daugavpils are also quite far from Rīga. And it's the same with Estonia. Tallinn is located by the sea, Narva is located next to the border. Tallinn, Narva, Pärnu and Tartu are situated in a rectangle form, which also brings a lot of free space. Also a great idea is including Saremaa with Kuresaare.

We cannot expect as many cities and towns as in Promods, and, guessing by previous DLCs, here is approximately the best we can expect (if they don't decide to make a lot of small towns)

Lithuania: 5 cities
Vilnius
Kaunas
Klaipėda
Šiauliai
Panevėžys
Latvia: 6 cities
Rīga
Daugavpils
Liepāja
Ventspils
Rēzekne
Valmiera or Valka/Valga
Estonia: 5 cities (6?)
Tallinn
Tartu
Narva
Pärnu
Kuresaare
If not Valka/Valga, then maybe Vijlandi
Kaliningrad oblast: 1 or 2 cities
Kaliningrad and maybe...
The map is in 1:19 scale, so we can't expect a lot due to small area.

I doubt we'll see Saaremaa, SCS is unlikely to focus on it. You are forgetting that Finland and parts of Russia are coming aswell, as can be seen from the map of the DLC announcement, and there are already some Finnish assets ingame (i can only remember one, but surely there were more) ;)

I just didn't have time to write about Finland and Russia, so here it is:

The outline is a broken line in Finland and Russia, so I wonder if that does mean the city locations.

Finland: 7 cities
Helsinki
Turku
Pori
Tampere
Lahti
Kotka
Lappeenranta
Russia (without Kaliningrad oblast): 5 and more
Saint Petersburg
Veliky Novgorod
Velikiye Luki
Pskov
Kirishi
Most of the big cities are located next to Start Petersburg, and in south Russia in this DLC there are almost none, so it's not easy to guess.

I'd bet for Viborg in Russia too.
