There's something wrong with the lights in the tunnels, they make the framerate absolutely tank. With the player headlights on it can easily dip to lower than 6FPS

At either end of the tunnel, looking away from it, I hit 60FPS in the dev camera easily. As shown, in the tunnel I can't break even 11FPS.

Excuse potato quality, the game doesn't capture the Steam FPS Counter and my phone isn't very good at capturing bright things against dark backgrounds.

i5 2500K, Radeon HD 6870, Light Visibility Distance set to Medium, 64-Bit, DX9, yadda yadda.

I think it has something to do with either your PC or you're running some other mods. I don't have any performance problems at all at the Elbtunnel, or anywhere on the ProMods map.

Some say, I'm addicted to ETS2. But then I say. No, it's ProMods, it's a way of life.

Well I do have them also and also other players and team members experience some performance problems at the Elbtunnel, we are investigating this problem :)
Happy trucking!

I normally run the Jazzycat Bus and Car mods and one of the HDR fixes. Above pics were ProMods-only.

I don't think it's my system, the game runs better in Vartahamnen and I have no real performance problems around Antwerp.

By the looks of it, there's way too many light sources and something falls over.

I'm having the same issue with a Radeon R9 285, Intel I7 950 and 6GB of RAM, no mods besides ProMods. This seems to be happening to many people.

It's definitely tied to the tunnel model. The tunnel models on Autostrada 7 to Genova have been changed to the same model used on Elbtunnel as of 1.9 and the frame drops appear there too. Not as bad as Elbtunnel, but still unplayable.

I revisited Elbtunnel with all non-sun light sources disabled and I got a solid 60FPS. There's way too many light sources on that tunnel mesh.

It seems that it may be the tunnel model causing some issues. I have received low frames near Maastricht with four tunnels there also. Could be something for SCS to sort out.
