[Resolved] 2.41/1.35 crash at loading screen

Stumped. Ran last version that worked with I think 1.34 successfully few months back; uninstalled/reinstalled ETS2 (deleted game folder & "documents" folder containing mods/logs). Game hangs at 2/3 or so mark loading ProMods 2.41 screen, music plays but will accept no keyboard/other inputs, necessitating "hard" (hold down power button) power off of PC. Seven times. I give.

You just didn't wait long enough, I'm afraid. First load after an upgrade Promods can take up to 30 minutes to load, depending on your PC's horsepower, as it regenerates the navigation cache.

Try it again, leave it be for awhile, take a walk, and when you come back it'll probably be ready to go.

Thanks for your quick response. Yes, my PC is at or below system requirements (including only 5 gigs ram) for pretty much everything these days, yet I play most games I desire to and get acceptable results. I will try again and give it more time, I really enjoy the mod. Thanks again!

As he said, first loadings can take a lot of time but you'll see that now it will go faster than ever. If you change any mod or just change your ETS2 / ATS version, it will take a long while again.
