[Resolved] Issue installing v2.12

Hi all, I'm new to Promods

I'm trying to install v2.12 as I don't have the required DLC for the latest version. I have East and North DLCs.

I have used the paid link and downloaded the zip file (promods-v212), downloaded the v2.12 def file too, extracted the files using 7-Zip, moved all 5 v212.scs files + the def.scs file to ETS2/mod folder, launched ETS2 and Mod Manager and no Promods files seen in Mod Manager.

Obviously I've gone wrong somewhere? I didn't have a Mod folder in my ETS2 root folder, despite having some other mods from Steam Workshop, so created it manually.

I've checked the guide in the Announcements thread but that seems to be specific to v2.30 and doesn't quite match the files I receive when downloaded v2.12.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I will supply screenshots.

You're searching for the mod folder in the incorrect place.
The mod folder is located in your my Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder.
There you will find the mod folder.

I realised this shortly after posting but couldnt cancel my post.

I successfully installed Promods and reverted ETS2 back to 1.26 but still couldnt play as I needed to start a new profile but didnt want to do that.

I will have to wait until I can buy the France and Italy DLC so it is compatible with my current profile
