New to pro mods, have a question.

Hello all,

I have downloaded the 2.26 version of the mod.
Downloaded all 7 field and the definition file. Put them in the mods folder of the game. Says active.

I downloaded 2.20 because Iceland looked awesome to go to...
Now after seeing the 2.20 mod has a lot more country’s as well , I also downloaded the 7 main files and the def which was giving me the Unicode problem at first but finally got it and unziped, placed that in the mods folder on the C: drive folder for the game along with the 2.26 files and 2.25 def.

I go in the game and 2.20 is green but the definition pack says incompatible

Do I need the def file for each mod or just the newest .?

Hi,

2.26 is the newest version, this version includes 2.20 and 2.25 - so why not use 2.26?
The countries on the compatibility page means just what has been added in this version (and not what is included in this version).

You need to download the ProMods Definition file each time you download ProMods. You cannot mix the ProMods Definition file from one version with the files of another ProMods version.

ProMods 2.20 is only compatible with ETS2 v1.28. It will show incompatible with ETS2 v1.30.

What the others have said in this thread is correct, you do not need ProMods 2.20. ProMods 2.26 includes everything that is in ProMods 2.20 plus a few new things.

Yeah I went back later and saw that.. must of over looked that.

All is good now. The mod is very good, much better road layout. Really get the sensation that you are driving on real roads.
