I did not save the log ... and have since played again.

Should have a save game somewhere - maybe I will go back and recreate this.

Or I can teleport to the area of course!

I'm pretty sure that the satnav finds the shortest route which technically runs through that service station (I'm sure that it's tried to send me through there as well). That part of the map is not ProMods area and from the vanilla game.

It is a prefab bug as you need to define "paths" for the GPS routing

As it is not Promods area, then I am not going to be 'bugged' about it...
In the future I will try and remember to look at the map put together by Volleybal4life to see the Promods areas:
