I confirmed it was still a problem in ProMods 2.03 a while ago. The issue is still open in our bug tracking system, bug #3283. I will see about updating the issue.

I know you said earlier it was fixed, but when I drove to Haparanda a few weeks ago in my career profile with ProMods 2.03, I was unable to discover it by driving around. So I think it is either still an issue, or became an issue again.

I was able to discover Haparanda fine but maybe that was because I used ProMods 2.0 before the updated versions came (2.01, 2.02, etc.) out.

I can confirm that Haparanda is not discovered when you enter the town. Using Promods 2.03 and Rusmap. I tried driving around, entering IKEA, saving and reloading the game while in the city... None of these worked, city is still white on the map. Not a big deal, just thought I'd mention that I have this error as well.

Edit: If you completely quit ETS2 and then restart it while the truck is in Haparanda, it does discover it (I previously just tried saving and reloading while in-game). Still a small bug, but at least this is a workaround.

Another option would be for Tornio and Haparanda to move a little further apart.

At any rate, I can confirm this is still a bug in 2.2 (and it is a real problem since you cannot get jobs from companies in undiscovered cities):

(With another profile and 2.18 I was able to discover Haparanda by teleporting to the area between IKEA and the main road.)

I am not sure who you are responding to, nor what you mean.

This should be fixed in Promods 2.20.

At any rate, I can confirm this is still a bug in 2.2

I also confirm it is still a bug in ProMods 2.20. This bug is fixed in WIP, but was not fixed in the 2.20 release (I personally worked with the developer to get it fixed during 2.20 beta testing, but it seems the fix did not make it into 2.20). This is bug #3283. While it is not possible to discover Haparanda by driving to it, you can still discover the city if you:

• (as Davyddin said) teleport to it (F9), or
• (as dkokales said) if you park your truck inside the city, save your game, then reload the savegame.
