IMHO :
- What about people who just started in Genova, doesn't have another garage, and wants to do "everything" : the DLCs and ProMods ? I mean, yeah, it's rare, but the rare cases often stands.
- Can't one just "hack" the way through ? Some... tunnels and basic junctions perhaps ? Unrealistic for just a while ? Maybe some disclaimer "Still WIP" signed on the road to Genova ?
Also, better to wait longer.

Are you going to add A15 from La Spezia to Parma?
I haven't done much driving in Italy so i've voted for removal.
If this brings compatibility so it's a good worksaving way
I understand also that there will be the HQ Problem.
Anything way that brings Promod forward is a good way even if i had to lost one garage which could easily be rebuild

I vote to bulldoze the city as it stands and re-build from the ground up. A re-build will usually make the town look more like it should, as it stands it doesn't remind me of the Genova on any satellite images or street-views so starting over is probably the best solution.

Of course it's a small kind of a setback. But that wouldn't stop the incredible modders' work in this community. Bulldoze it, make it better. Maybe even with a future port connection to Corsica.

Just merge the Sector/Sectors together, then connect ProMods A10 with SCS's A10. "sec-0003+0008"M95 wrote:IMPORTANT!
As you guys know the France DLC is coming up. On the map there's clearly a road visible going to the Italian coast so Italy has a connection to southern France DLC area. Unfortunately there's a big part of this road interfering with our work near and in Genova. In my opinion Genova got outdated and should be removed and maybe some day get a new rebuild.
I'm wondering if it is worth to take the effort of merging this area into the map or leave Genova out which makes compatibilityfor us. (Time I don't have to use on that can be used in other projects).
Nothing overlaps with ProMods Genova and SCS's A10, they end before they meet each other.
Then later rebuild Genova.
Altho, maybe just add a touch to the trainyard?
Yeah, I did check this inside the editor. Both 1.26 Beta W/o mods and current 1.25 with ProMods.
Well, the sea graphic and some far away mountain graphic overlaps, but that should be a minor issue?
Altho.... there might be a height difference?
76.6 SCS, 42.1 ProMods. But that too could be adjusted?
