My study trip was supposed to be there but now it is Ireland ... (no comment about why)
I heard the Skaftafell-Nationalpark should be very nice to visit but it's a little from Reykjavik

The Þingvellir National Park, Geysir and the Gulfoss waterfall (biggest in Europe) are worth visiting, and they're located close to each other.
If you fancy a really long drive (4-5 hours in winter conditions), visit Hólmavik and the museum of witchcraft and sorcery. It's a weird place, but equally fascinating.
Is there any news on Iceland for 2.30?
In order to access more of the north-west (e.g. Olafsvík, Patreksfjörður) I read that Borgnarnes will have to be rebuilt, is this correct? Also, are there current plans to do the small roads to the north on the Google Maps around the Sauðarkrókur area?
Thanks for a great map, keep the awesome content coming!
