That's why our devs will try to make the best of both worlds. Some improvements, some additions with new quality. But it's future, it won't happen now.

Is it safe to assume that this will be approached the same way that Scandinavia was?

I.e., getting rid of Promods France for the time being and replacing it with France DLC until a merge can be done?

To be honest, Promods France was not that great, especially northern France looks pretty old-fashioned. Allover France there are SCS
default interchanges and some cities like Rouen, Caen, ... are pretty ugly. And the country roads are not that nice and the houses have bad textures because they normally are used for far away villages. And the old Paris was a joke. Southern France could be merged into the DLC but the rest
can be thrown away. The signs were not editable and the highways were not good quality even if there were many custom interchanges.
But compare it to the quality of Promods Germany, Denmark or Belgium.

But I also must say that it is 1000 times better than France in TSM map.

Will you extend highways near Paris from 3 lanes to numbers in real?

Quick question, and I suspect the answer will be yes.

Will I need the France DLC to continue using Promods?

In the future, DLC will be required as DLC France roads will be connected with Andorra, Spain and so on, just like now. Also, we're using assets from that DLC.
