I wish SCS Software designed Euro Truck Simulator 2 in terms of map mods and modding so that there is no limit in terms of adding new places. Like there is an unlimited amount of map space. I hope in the future a new algorithm is designed for this.

What do you mean by "unlimited amount of map space"?

actually, I specifically asked for this for realism as someone who lives 5 minutes from Rosslare and takes the french boat yearly, yes it is a truck driving game, and guess what, lots of trucks take Rosslare-Cherbourg...especially on Stenaline which is a predominantly freight ship, especially in winter

While you mightn't know this, that has been asked several times before. ProMods won't add it because the game is a truck driving game, not a ferry game. Many people ask this not because it'll add it realism, but to avoid the UK's ugliness (like yourself, I see). Only hope is finding a mod (like liano above me).

With the right know-how adding a new ferry link is very easy, so it is very possible to create a mod that adds such a thing ;)

Vøytek, what I said, an unlimited amount of map space that never runs out.

But, I doubt creating such a thing would be possible. Basically if it was possible we could have every city, county and town within the United Kingdom, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland and the Outer Hebrides included in Euro Truck Simulator 2 on the ProMods map mod.

That's what I meant.

For that I think it's more a need of unlimited amounts of time

It is indeed not possible, you should look at the ETS2 world as a Scalextric race track, as seen from above.
There is only so much that can fit. If you want to increase the space you need to increase the scale, and by every step you increase the scale you also increase the work load.
Also, increasing the scale is not possible for ProMods because it would make the map incompatible with the base map.
