Wroclaw - Karlstad (Part 1: Poland)


My new truck, a MAN TGX Euro 6, was already waiting for me at my headquarter


I decided to take a longer route to Karlstad and took my load at IKEA


Driving from the A8 on the A4 at Wroclaw


Again I'm enjoying one of the rural regions of East Poland


Glad I didn't have to wait for a train


A beautiful forest


The Renault is still following me


Going north to Gorzow Wielkopolski


That was only a short 4 lane segment


Wonderful lake south of Gorzow Wielkopolski


Leaving the S3 to rest. I'm excited what rest area we can expect.


Not very luxury but I really love these 'f*cked up' rest areas

Sunrise is coming slowly


Doing a little refuel because the fuel is much cheaper here than in Sweden and this is the last fuel station before we take the ferry

We are not going to the city centre, only to the port


Like nearly every truck driver we have to wait for the ferry

Wroclaw - Karlstad (Part 2: Sweden)


Welcome to Sweden


Leaving Trelleborg


On the fast lane


There we go on the E4


Sweden is one of countrys which have the most beautiful nature


Imo the scenery of the E4 is the masterpiece of it...well at least in ETS2


View on a lake near Värnamo. Pretty small in contrast to...


...the Vättern near Jonköping, the most southern point of Vättern


This really is a top-notch spot


The famous Linköping egg


Going on the riksväg 34 to Motala


Leaving Motala the most eastern point of Vättern


I really love this scandinavvian atmosphere


Going on another E route, this time the E20 to the east


And after it the E18 in the direction of Oslo


There is the exit towards Karlstad


Our destination is a Europcar in the industrial zone of Vaxnäs


And thats the end of this journey

215km to Oslo


Driving into the sunset


Going to sleep in a hotel at the border between Sweden and Norway


Enjoying this beautiful morning with a scandinavian breakfast before we move on


The population gets more dense. A sign that Oslo should be very close
