Re: Development on version 2.x (Southern Scandinavia)

Are there any provisions for the upcoming Stockholm Bypass ? I know it's still years to come, but would make an interesting pick-up site I guess (streetview and satellite view shows the portals are already done).

EDIT : Whoops, missed an "L" !

Re: [WIP] Middle-East add-on

Woah, this sounds cool... (more like... searing hot , amirite ? XD) To the best of my knowledge, until not too long ago it was possible to drive through the whole region. It did require some administrative juggling, as well as going through the right neighbors, but it's possible - famously Top Gear ...

Re: Development on version 2.x (Baltics merge)

It's good to know that things are going well ! SCS' Baltic is indeed a very good road-map job, but a few countries are interpreted differently than by ProMods. The only remaining things are main-land Russia... but I suppose we'll all cope with it. Though, for a question, would the Curonian Spit be f...

Re: Development on version 2.x (Autobahn Rebuilding Project)

I don't meant to stop for a rest directly at the side stripes of an Autobahn. I meant rather at country or rural roads. Ah. Well in that case the developers need to seek out one site that's actually used for that purpose IRL. I know there're some artistic freedom that one can use, but I believe giv...

Re: Development on version 2.x (Autobahn Rebuilding Project)

I would be a nice thing if you can sleep everywhere you want at the side of the road... German Autobahn and UK Motorway (and A-roads with clearways) have a similar restriction in that stopping at any part of these roads, unless absolutely necessary, is not allowed. This is in contrast to, say, Ital...

Re: Development on version 2.x (British Isles Edition)

Huh... I didn't pay enough attention then...

But yeah, sounds interesting ! Tyneside/Wearside and Teeside are definitely interesting as they have a lot of trunk dual carriageway.

Re: Development on version 2.x (British Isles edition)

The Northwest has a lot of motorways (M56-M53, M62, M58 along with the proposed extension, M57, M60, M61, M66, M65 with TfN plans to extend it to Bradford, M67 with TfN plans to dual the A628), same with Yorkshire (M18, M180, M62, A1(M)), guess it'll be very interesting to see what the team can come...
