It's always good to point it, it's actually a common misconception even in Pamplona. For a real Roman aqueduct, watch for Segovia.

That's the aquaduct of Subiza, south of Pamplona. It was built in the 18th century, so not Roman!

But aren't traffic signs supposed to be like real life counterparts? Or do you in cases like this one compromise for playability's sake?

Oh, absolutely. They waaaaaay over-use signs up on overhead gantries. They're really only found in urban areas, though some Interstates, notably I-75 in south Georgia and north Florida, have highway signs up on overhead gantries in rural areas. I've never used the map editor and the only thing I'm achieving when typong "edit usa" is CTDing ATS. However, does all this anything to have with this link? http://modding.scssoft.com/wiki/Documen ... ap_Rescale

From what I saw in a time lapse video following I-80, I-70 and I-15 is that SCS seems to overuse gantry signs when in reality most of the time signs at the side of the road are prefered (for the exits for example) (because they are cheaper) Now when I drive in ATS I feel a bit itchy about the signs....
