If you have updated to the newest nvidia driver 417.01, this causes ets2 and ats to crash immediately at the scs logo. Going back to the previous release fixes the problem

Yes my game updated before I played. Thought it was strange as I very rarely find major bugs but this road had loads. Thank for an great mod.

As per title, confirmed on promods only profile. There are many others on this stretch of road between the junction and tunnel
Edit: There are about 10-15 of these scenery gaps along this road up until you reach Karlstad
