I believe to run Rus map with Promods you need Italia, but if using standalone you don't require it. I don't have anywhere that says so apart from what Volleyball said further up this post.

@ asilas The game has to cache everything before you start the game. The length of time gets longer if you make any changes to the mod list as well.

I crawled along there at around 8mph, left it in 5th low and let it rumble along this road, my poor steering wheel got jolted so kept speed down, no damage done at all thankfully. I also used the side bits occasionally and did some rally driving Gr8 Steppe style LOL
