Re: Development on Add-ons (Middle-East Add-on v2.x)

How about a traffic pack for this area? Old cars, exotic models and weird vehicles. Cmon, it should be interesting :D

Re: One thing I won't understand too soon

I meant that mappers are not creating e.g. Turkey only for Turks, but for all players. So, I want to see beauties of Turkey and if someone is not satisfied he don't have to drive in that Turkey. And in really bad cases there is ban option. I don't care if some Turks don't like way how Promods will ...

Re: One thing I won't understand too soon

They are really crazy. I am ukrainian, personally, i would be happy if someone from SCS/Promods team can bring Ukraine to ETS2. But I prefer only high quality content. Ukraine is top 3 on the countries I wanna see in the game, probably even the first. I'm disappointed no one is interested in workin...

Re: One thing I won't understand too soon

I think most Turkish people will not be happy with non-Turkish people working on Turkey sadly This is foolish. Most of map developers work using Google Streetview as a guidance, and you can be from a desolate island in the middle of the ocean, if you do you research acoordingly and study the place ...

Re: One thing I won't understand too soon

Good thing we're probably 90% getting Balkan DLC this year, so maybe European Turkey will appear. From that point onwards, i guess the country will slowly expand from Izmir, Bursa towards east, mainly with the help of Promods team.

Re: One thing I won't understand too soon

I can't speak for everyone, but some people think "Since this game is set in Europe, we should cover all of Europe before looking further" Of course, this is the argument of a mapper and not of a player. But not rarely, the players said this thing, limiting themselves in a useless setting.

One thing I won't understand too soon

I frequently see that there are people in the ETS2 community in general who are against the introduction of a new part to the game map, mostly when it comes to a non-European one (especially Turkey). Now I ask, what's the matter? Don't you guys like when you have more roads to drive, more cities to ...

Re: Development on version 2.x (Balkan Area)

From what I gather, on the livestream they also mentioned some other things. Most notably that it will have a land connection to the old world and that it will be 'larger' than the Baltics DLC. Now, going by that and assuming that the two countries that were hinted at (Bulgaria and Romania) are 'co...
