I just fixed up the manifest to allow it to install on 1.44, and it loads fine. I've not tested extensively, but I immediately got notification of the new Special Transport, so at least something works.

I'm using your 2.44 build with ETS 1.44, and I'm seeing two "Saint Petersburg" labels on the map.

For a start I thought it was something else in my load order, but I made a new test profile with literally ONLY the 4 Rusmap files and I can still see the two cities

no, but you can manually delete the file ferry.dlc_sum.sii in the def folder

Please consider moving this to a separate Connection scs in future releases.

Open a terminal, then use command '7z x promods-v256.7z.001'

The 7z program will work out what to do
