Hi!

Game version: 1.18

I tried installing ProMods 1.95, without success since it requires DLC( which I tried installing in the first place, but didn't work because it's not compatible with version 1.18 and I have no bloody idea of how to make it work), now I tried installing version 1.91, it doesn't require DLC but on the other hand it's not compatible with version 1.18 as it seems, and the older patches are just nowhere to be found. What should I do? Honestly, I like this game but it's a big pain in the ass when it comes to modding, it's just way too complicated and full of compatibility issues.

PS: I deleted all other mods to eliminate the chances the problem might be one of them.

You can still use 1.91 on ETS2 1.18. You just need the same fix as for 1.17.

For me, ProMods 1.95 works with 1.18

You can't.
1.95 has been released for the DLC.
If you want to use the latest ProMods without the DLC you can download 1.91.
