These approaches, where the road widens towards the tollgate:
You see that each direction is heavily biased to go to one side. (namely the right side in the driving direction). Even if we would leave out half the toll station, you would still have the following problems:
- Geometry will still be biased to the right.
- The gate itself is not centered, but it's more located towards the end of the toll station.
- Jumping cars. This is still a problem with some of the current prefabs.
Even if this weren't a problem, you would still need to edit the prefabs, something that can only be done with zModeler (which I don't have); Blender can't handle the PPD meta-data that's required for prefabs to function (things like nodes, paths and the edge of the actual prefab). And even then we are still quite unsure about how the pathing is handled on these prefabs, because I'm not sure if we can export our stuff to the proper prefab version. If I could do just all of this in Blender we would have a) quite some more prefabs and b) this wouldn't be a problem at all...
So, there are quite a lot of realisation problems here...

Why would you make the prefab bigger than necessary? Smaller prefabs offer more flexibility, same thing as our custom built intersections.

But then one of the other problems still remains: we can't just make prefabs: I on't have the tools to do that. Especially when cutting this to size. If I did have the proper tools, this would be a non-problem.

When Promods finished whole Europe in a couple of years, there's no need to go on vacation anymore

Yup, it's really boring in middle-of-f***ing-nowhere (to be honest) when going e. g. Road 3 which is between Vaasa and Tampere, a lot of forest going bothsides of the road
