Development on version 1.x (Current Map Improvements)
I know, that's because SCS failed to make stuff realistically. ProMods fixed quite a few junctions already, but merger lanes sometimes take up too much space. And distances between junctions are massively decreased due to map scale. There's likely still some lane changes and you'll still have to take the 2nd lane at times. But, I'll make sure all these lane changes will be showed on the signs beforehand, so you have plenty of time to change lane without ramming an AI vehicleRukiRobert1 wrote:I really wish this in every juction on the map... I hate Germany... why? because i must to use almost everytime 2nd lane to keep my direction forward and not turn right...
Not yet.jermboy27 wrote:Promods cant be complete without Slovenia and Croatia!
Can you do Slovenia and Croatia please?
I'll suggest it to the team, but ARP is in fact a current map improvement.kallejre wrote:Please consider own topic for ARP.
Many of those prefabs are replaced, and proper signage will be added. It was my main annoyance in ETS2 too, and SCS is taking way too long to fix it. I'll make sure that if a sign has two arrows pointing up, there will be 2 lanes going straight ahead. That's a promise!realdeal350 wrote:I hate those stupid lanes that end for no reason and no signage indicates it. But now I can tell when a lanes going to end because I driven over hundreds of those prefabs...

Proper signage does help a lot!Purno wrote: Many of those prefabs are replaced, and proper signage will be added. It was my main annoyance in ETS2 too, and SCS is taking way too long to fix it. Heh, not really sure what it stands for, but as far as I know it's a project for reworking the German autobahns.DanyTNT wrote:I might go a little stupid now but... what is ARP?
So I guess the A stands for Autobahn, and the P for Project. The R could stand for several things, including rework, redo, remake, refurbishment, remap, etc.
Someone else probably knows the exact name

I don't remember exactly what the acronym stands for (Autobahn Rebuilding Project?), but it's basically an overhaul of major road juctions in (nothern) Germany, so that they more closely resemble their real-life counterparts. Browse back through the thread for awesome screenshots.DanyTNT wrote:I might go a little stupid now but... what is ARP?

Basically, it is the remaking of the highways in Germany, and I already saw a lot of awesome screenshots of them
The R can stand for anything re-something (IMO, revamp sounds the best)
Thanks for the explanation!

Well, at least I got it 67% correct.
I'll make sure I'll get the signs 100% correct.
