Development progress and current status:

----------
Dear fellow truckers,
I have some good and bad news for you about our development plans in Greece.
The good news is, I’m glad to announce that I have taken over the Komotini project at the beginning of this year and you can see some of my work after 1.5 months below.
During this period, a lot of things had to go under serious maintenance. The reason is the technique employed in Greece overall is great for its era. However, the mapping techniques have significantly changed since then and Komotini is a much more recent area. Therefore, the new technique must have been established mainly for much more diverse solutions.
In addition, given that now, we have newer and more suitable assets for Greece thanks to Road to the Black Sea and Iberia DLCs; and also within ProMods, new standards for Greece have been set for better sustainability in case either me or someone else wants to work in the country in the future.
Lastly, some parts of the city also had to be replanned (mainly north and west) as the initial work was, as a matter of fact, not very suitable for trucking. Below, you can find the WIP city plan. South and east are mostly done; however, north and west still require a lot of work.
-------------------------------------------
We had also announced in the past that we were also building a road connection up until Plovdiv (Circle B) as you can see the whole road plan below. However, the bad news is that; I’m afraid to announce that the road connection to Plovdiv will not be coming due to multiple reasons.
The first reason is that when I took over this project, roughly 50% of the circle A was complete and when it comes to circle B, the road up to the border was extremely WIP and there was nothing made on the Bulgarian side. As I said above, the area in circle A had to go through serious maintenance which is already a lot of effort.
Another reason is that, we find it important to actually complete projects, and we found it more important to just complete Komotini on its own than to delay it to build the whole route to Plovdiv, which as it turns out, wouldn't allow trucks anyway as it could be seen below.
I would like to apologise on behalf of the team for such an inconvenience.
I hope I could depict the Greek atmosphere as much as I can and I hope you like it. Till then, take care!
