MARY ANN'S TRAVELS ACROSS NORTHERN COUNTRIES: PART 2, JYVÄSKYLÄ

The next job after Jönköping's tour went to Genova, new areas of ProMods map. The scenery was really awesome and beautiful, thanks to the reliable ProMods Team! ;) But let's get to business.

It was a beautiful sunny day at LKW's yard in Genova, and it was a pleasure to hook up the trailer, 22 tonne load of Shop Equipment to EuroGoodies in Jyväskylä.

After getting out of the yard, I got stuck on rush, there was trains passing so the level crossing wasn't open long period of time before booms went down and traffic had to wait. Also, the traffic were going slowly on the roundabout next to it. When I got myself finally out of the circle, it was time to pay toll and head towards North on Italian Autostrada.

At some point, still quite long distance away Swiss border, I had no choice but to memorize few great scenes, they were gorgeous in this kind of weather 8-) Also, I spotted couple of hot air balloons high up in the sky!

I continued my trip towards my destination at 95 km/h, since I wanted to drive safely and have low fuel consumption. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and Swiss Alps were approaching quite fast, I had to pull over to nearby rest stop, take a coffee break and enjoy the beautiful scenes ;)

The journey continued after couple of hours later, and I crossed German border very fast, sun was shining all day long, and Mary Ann needed more fuel, so I pulled over to one service station whose road was still under construction. Also here I enjoyed the beautiful scenes and the sunshine.

Next step was to continue the long trip to Finland but Mary Ann's driver needed rest to sleep so I pulled over to one narrow and small service station somewhere in Germany.

Next step was ferry route between Puttgarden and Rodbyhavn.

And after getting myself into Sweden, the trouble began. There was 5 AI vehicles that cut me and I had to ditch my truck, then on the E4 rest stop next to Lake Vättern, there is invisible wall blocking the whole road. Also, when I changed the camera position, I spootted a gap in the terrain. After those my Steam Client detected ETS2 1.14.2.2 update which caused my game to crash.

1 hour later I was able to continue my trip, but... I don't have ProMods anymore. (I needed to delete all my mods so that Steam can install the update, my laptop had 3GB of free memory and update file was only 13MB so I was wondering that how much it requires free disc space in order to install those updates). After downloading new def-file and the 3 part download procedure, and extraced the mod files from the 3 RAR-archives, and putted back my VTC's paintjobs, I continued but there was one problem... I putted wrong color on navigation route, so I needed to download the def-file again...

Rest of the journey went well, I arrived safely to EuroGoodies, dropped my load and picked next one which goes to Strasbourg. I have also detected few places where I can hear moose screaming ;) So now I know 3 places where I can hear it.

1. The service station south of Jönköping
2. On road E63 after Tampere heading towards Jyväskylä
3. on road E63 between Jyväskylä and Varkaus

Q: Are there more places to hear a moose?

P. S. At the end of this journey, Mary Ann had clocked 15 000 km ;)

Thank you co-boss :D Looks like you have to wait for a few days for part 3, since I'm currently hauling a 50 tonne Caterpillar 637G scraper to Strasbourgs quarry.

Thank you for your kind words ;)

Shall I post more black & white images?

Thank you for doing them ;) If it's up to me, I must have my company paintjob because I'm driving for my company.

Also Loader, would you do a paintjob for jasper, details posted on your topic at SCS Forums?
