Uhm all I know is that MIRFI released something on his personal fb.

I will check later today if this is the same, could be that someone put it on ets2.lt

Hello, mates! I have some important announce to make.

First of all, that's my work. An one hour job. And that's the problem. That's all I was able to do.

The guys from SCS did it. On the latest updates, they modified the map editor and optimized it for higher resolution (like 4K etc.), dropping support for standard resolutions like 1366x768. I'm a student and I don't live in my hometown anymore, so my laptop is my only computer. I can't build maps anymore because of that. I've waited for them to fix the problem, but they don't seem to change anything. The work I did 2 days ago is all I can do for now.

During these months, I've shared some work I did with Nico, but one time, the conversion didn't worked.

I'm stuck now. I'm thinking of passing my project to someone else from the team, because my feel is that SCS will leave the editor as it is. And by the way, sorry for the summer months. Personal issues.

Hope you'll understand it has nothing to do with me!

OK, understood. Send the rest of the work to the rest of the team, so not all work is lost ;)

Ok, no worries MIRFI, it's a shame your project couldn't be completed for various reasons and SCS's "new" editor, good luck with your studying!

One question, why replace Debrecen with Oredea? What's the reason for it?

You guys are funny. A friend of mine (IRL) asked me to do this for him. And I thought it would be nice to share it with other people too. With the current state of the editor, is all I can do.

As it happens, Nico has had the same problem with his laptop. He was advised to set Windows to use a slightly smaller text size and now is able to use the ETS2 Editor on his lappy. Granted, the text is small, but at least the menus are usable...
