possible texture problems

I'm using the latest ETS2 and Going East with ProMods 1.01 but I seem to get some texture problems:

(click image above to see the full thing with GPS on the right)

In the screen above the road side markings seem to be white arrows with black arrows beside them.
Buildings in the far right seem to have the wrong textures.
Also, the fuel gauge (shown on the GPS) seems to be faulty. Even on the Scania dashboard it shows nothing.

Even with these little quirks I still love ProMods! :D

All the best!

Oops, I should have added that I'm running the Linux version of ETS2. If that makes any difference?

The current solution (shown here: http://www.promods.net/viewtopic.php?f= ... t=30#p1610) isn't applicable to Linux unfortunately. :?

hmm then this problem may not be fixable for Linux :{
we still don't really know what causes it to trip, probably some texture or model file with a header that isn't closed and causes the texture buffer to trip
strange thing is it doesn't cause issues with DirectX

It seems to start off as just, say, the side markings on the road then the more you drive the worse it gets.

It might be something to do with ferry crossings as it was pretty minor until I took the ferry then the pavement textures had changed, GPS was showing a red line instead of where I should be going, wheel textures had changed... that kinda thing. When I say wheel textures, it was only the wheels on the trailers that had changed. The wheels on my truck (and others) were fine.

It's definitely very odd. :/

Hi, sorry to come back to this issue. Is there no recourse for those that need to use OpenGL as the API? I'm experiencing this issue through the ProMod maps using:

Version of ETS2 -
1.7.1s
Steam or not steam?
Steam
Version of DirectX -
n/a (Ubuntu 13.10 64bit, OpenGL)
Graphics settings (in-game) - Ultra, except for 100% scaling and no AA
Graphics card specs & driver version (if possible)
GeForce GTX650, v319.32

Hi
I think it's wrong to mark this topic as solved as it has only been worked around.
The problem still presists with OpenGL rendering.

And as a Linux user I can not run the game with DirectX.
I do not get any texture corruption in the vanila game without this mod.
Really hope this can be propperly solved. I love the mod otherwise :D
