I thought I would share my testing regarding these two maps compatibility.... driving at the "borders" and area inbetween to see what happens
this trip I started in Sweden...going East !!
(mapcombination...well...signature says it...)

from Karlskrona to Klaipeda ( yes, my small cheat, added a ferryconnection )


at Klaipeda to this place...read the name

it crashed behind me 1st time ;

2nd time it crashed here exactly.... ;

and this is one of the spots I got a CTD .... and another crash even crashed the explorer.exe and almost rebooted my PC


well, as we all do when these things happens ... we test with a new profile with only ProMods activated.

ofcourse it didn't crash .... so we have a winner... RusMap ...

When the game crashed - the only thing (last lines in gamelog was):

with that in mind I thought, why not change the priority of these mapmods in the modmanager

now I probably have some other maporder than u might have...but I guess the placement of the model-files should work .....

moved ProMods Model Packages above the RusMap


Testdrive with this change applied ....


to the end of the road and back...no crash...some errors regarding unknown lookname on road prefabs and so, but no CTD

back to the route....Going East !!!
... if I stumble on any more stuff - or if these changes makes RusMap totally incompatible... I'll report back

Wow, all of this is very confusing. Did you use the 1.23x version of RusMap v1.6.3?

well there is only one release of the 1.6.3 (haven't seen any other one) + the advanced trailer coupling fix ETS2 1.24.x.x..... so it is the latest

no confusion at all.. simply just move the ProMods modelpackages higher in modmanager and this CTD is no more

btw... crossed over to the rusmap so the connection in this region is working without issues (atleast where I am)

try on firefox, IE, chrome... all times have a corruped file

Now how do you find the 2.10 hotfix,Rusmap eng translation and the road connection patch?

Aren't RusMap names already in English? I thought so.

yeah .... I don't know if the translations are needed or not...well they been in my folder for some time and I guess they stuck

the road connection is the one available, I only "fixed" the manifest.sii with some proper names so I know directly what it is when adding to new profiles...

and Hotfix ... homemade, it's the Cambridge Wall Crusher Fix ..simply just did what suggested in the bugreportthread

also here..I'm a sucker for proper display and names and so on...made the manifest.sii ....not all are fixed in modmanager, but I'm getting there
