Well, you can use the Iceland hack, but I think that it would be a bit impossible... Or Panevéžys it, gps always deroutes us to the "ring" .

Considering that more than 50% of trucks still use the ferry connection, I think it definitely deserves to be implemented.
The bridge still has a lot of use for jobs to and from Malmö and further east (Karlskrona, Kalmar), just like in real life.
Coming from the north (Stockholm, Göteborg) most people take the ferry unless you are visiting Malmö on the way.
As for less money for jobs, the ferry is very short and takes only 20 minutes. I don't think the job income will be affected that much.
