Well that side filter is not hard to make but to make it work correctly isn't possible (the pic also shows double green, what shouldn't happen right?)

Also you don't see it that much. At least not in the Netherlands and Germany.

It's common in Denmark
Green arrow has correspondance with red light for oncoming traffic: You're free to take left turn

Double Greens are almost the entire point of the side filter, to indicate that cross turns are protected.

More advanced light configurations are a long-needed feature. They look great.

Actually, it's relatively common at least where I live (far east of Germany ;)). I mean, not every junction but quite some.

Happens all the time or a mix of the two. At the intersection Charles de Costerlaan / Halewijnlaan here, e.g., first, the traffic coming from Brugge is allowed to turn left (filter light). When that goes red, the traffic going straight through from both directions gets the green light. Then the traffic coming from Brugge is stopped and the traffic coming from the city (Antwerp) gets to turn left into the Halewijnlaan, while the through traffic from that direction still has the green light.
