Today was a troublesome day sadly, here comes why: :(

This morning I was loading a container from Kiel that goes to Stavanger - Norway. Everything just looks fine:
Image

In the afternoon, I'm riding the E39 just some kilometers before the Hirtshals ferry harbour, when this happened:
Image

I didn't had any accidents before, altough I'm driving this truck for almost 2 years (in real life) Until this day I was lucky:
Image

I was not driving fast, with 80 I guess, but the other truck which I was following suddenly started breaking heavily, and I could not stop. I quickly took a turn to the left, to avoid the collison, but my truck became uncontrolable, and first I hit the road barrier and after that I hit this truck in the middle:
Image

I canceled the job. I was close to the Hirtshals port so the trailer went away with the ship and from Kristiansand a Norwegian truck took it to Stavanger. My Volvo came home to Kiel on a trailer, now it's in a service, the whole front panel of the cab has to be changed completely. Until that, I'm gonna drive this little thing:

I'm back again, this time with some pictures of my first trip with this Daf:

Just after picking up a container from Hamburg, destination is Aarhus - Denmark:
Image

After some hours I'm arriving to the terminal in Aarhus, ready to unload:
Image

From here we're going south with another container to Strasbourg, this destination was a bit unexpected. But anyway I'm just crossing the Vejlefjordbroen:
Image

But my driving hours are finished so I stop for the night in Padborg:
Image

Early morning shot from the A7 between Hamburg and Hannover:
Image

We arrived to Strasbourg exactly at midnight, I detached, and went to sleep, next morning I've got the new job: to pick up a container from Mannheim and from there back to Denmark to Kolding:
Image

Which is actually great because that means this night I'm sleeping at home in Kiel:
Image

And next morning I'm crossing Kiel Kanal. From here Kolding it's just a two hours drive. Then I detach and and for the afternoon I'm home again:
Image

Oh, and the next job is gonna be a unique one... ;)

It's been quite a while since the last time I posted here, so it's time to bring some new images, mostly random pics from different journeys:

So, after some weeks in a service in Göteborg, my Volvo came home fully restored from the accident in Denmark:
Image

First job was picking up a container from the port of Hamburg. Destination Göteborg - Sweden
Image

Waiting for the unload, in the port of Felixtowe - England:

But after almost 2 years, I felt it was time to change my "mobile-home" so we swapped truck with one of my drivers, the new rig is a brand new Volvo FH460 Globetrotter XL:

Riding in the sunset along the North Sea in Denmark:

On the A1 just some kilometers after Bremen:

My first trip to Antwerpen (Guys, I have no words for this amazingness  )

Very early in the morning just outside of Kiel:

Getting off the ferry in Rödbyhamn:

An ordinary rainy workingday in the port of Hamburg:

Leaving the truckstop in Padborg in the morning:

Another shot from HH:

In Rödbyhamn, pulling a Freja trailer from Hamburg to Göteborg:

Arriving to the destination in the next morning. (E6, Olskrokenmotet, Göteborg)
