Need help with graphics problem [FIXED]

OK, so I have been running the game with Promods fine for 3 years now on my Easynote TS laptop, however recently, weird giant shadows have been flickering on and off, and massive white rectangles in the distance appearing and disappearing.
Mods used are ProMods, Poland Rebuilding (bug still occurs without PR activated, however), and my repaints (all beginning with TT).

Did this coïncide with the introduction of the new skybox in ETS2?

Also, check whether your graphics drivers are up to date.

SCS are working on some graphics glitches in he new rendering engine
I have seen similar on both PR and ProMods, reducing the scaling helped in ProMods have retried PR

Reducing the scaling had no noticeable effect.

OK, well a full re-install did nothing, so I am really stumped. Anyone have a solution?

Hmm... In the .log file there is nothing interesting

Maybe you set the graphics options : refresh rate = 60 (not default)

This happens only when playing ETS2?

Yes. One thing it looks like is that shadows are popping in and out, because I recently noticed that the shadow of my truck was flickering as well.

OK, playing without mods yields the same problem, however, it is not present on ETS2MP.

OK, now on a clean profile, all of the signs and street lamps are flickering.
