Well, ypu can't just apply to become a beta-tester.
The beta-testers are chosen as followed:
1. A name pops up in the teamchat
2. All devs and mods look at eachother, and talk about the person, taking the history and helpfullness into account.
3. All devs and mods give a go, if only one gives a no-go, it's a no-go.
4. For the community, the following happens. Some magic is applied, ant the name turns yellow. This means that the one where the team has spoken about, has been elected as a tester!
That is the only way to become a beta-tester.

5. Some people get priority due to special reasonsw (skill, known strangers etc.).
