Hi everyone!

I'm 18 (very soon 19) and I'm really interested about trucks (not having licence yet), started out with SCS games, from 18WoS and Euro Truck 1, as soon as I heard about Euro Truck 2, I was like "OMG, I want that game right now!"

I'm looking forward of that new Actros SCS is modeling coz Mercedes is my favorite manufacture of all time. Here in Finland it's highly possible to see a good old Diesel-powered Mercedes that has seen the world of more than one million kilometers! (621 371 miles) and is very popular on teenagers for tuning, like the "OM60x Superturbo"

OM means "Oil Motor = Diesel" and 601 is the first diesel engine of 600 series (newer, from 83 to 01), it was a 2 liter 8 valve prechamber diesel, OM602 was the same specs but had five cylinders and 603 had six cylinders.

On 1993 Mercedes introduced "newer" style OM604 2.2 liter prechamber diesel engine, thathad best rating fro power/liter, 40 hp towards 1 liter of diesel. Notable difference was that this engine was DOCH unlike the 601-603.

The 605 was 2.5 liter wither naturally aspirated or turbocharged 20 valve engine. Very popular on teenagers tuning options, was used on 202 chassis C-class and 210 chassis E-Class and late model years of 124 chassis.

The "infamous" OM606 is the most popular tuned engine on Mercedes diesel tuning, the engine itself was 3 liter 24 valve inline six, with or without turbo.

So, what do you think, "little" background of my self, and little knowledge of Mercedes :)

I do have topic on "Share the Love", "mbman212's Pictures", go check it out and comment my shots from gameplay.

So, here's a list of abbreviations that mostly Mercedes uses.

CDI = Common Rail Diesel Direct Injection
T = Touring which is Wagon
A = Automatic gearbox
W = Wagen meaning Sedan
S = Estate
R= Roadster
C = Coupé
4Matic = Automatic gearbox with front wheel differential for 4 wheel drive
L = Lang, longer wheelbase
D = Diesel (older models up to 1997 when CDI was first introduced, T in front D means Turbo, so it's Turbo Diesel)
BE = Blue Efficiency, newer style, less polluting gasoline engines.
E = Einspritzanlage = fuel injected gasoline engine
M = Gasoline engine
OM = Oil motor, Diesel engine

The numbers after W/S/R/C means what chassis model it is (e. g. C197, Coupé version of Mercedes SLS AMG, the three numbers is the "factory code" so you get the correct spare parts when needed)

Also, I have opened a VTC (Virtual Trucking Company) which is looking for drivers. We're international company so everybody can join.

Restrictions? We don't know that phrase because we don't have any. So you can do anything, like having no police on so you don't get fined.

Requirements? We don't require much, only that you include a screenshot of Job Completed screen before saving a Logbook Entry. And writing to Notes your toll fees, fuel costs and if you got fined without proper reason. We'll pay back your losses.

Logbook Entry? Everything is just behind few mouse clicks. Fill in departure/arrival city, fuel consumption, revenue and distance, include above said info and click Save.

Recruitment? Recruiting Page
