Dots can make the length of an item name longer, though this doesn't work for all item types

Requesting help with: traffic lights
How do they work?
It's quite obvious that the "Use semaphores" tick enables traffic lights for prefabs. However, how do i get the country-specific traffic lights?
Anything else obvious that i should know?

Simple; the prefab must be connected to a road with the correct country assignment. The traffic lights will change when you save the map.

How do I group models together to make the grey square? I've seen it while looking at the SCS map and as far as I can tell, if you group models together they load at the same time...(?)
(Sorry for absolutely terrible post, on phone and can't remember what the grey squares are called )

The grey squares are compound groups. To make them, select the objects and press CTRL+G (or select the option from the menu).

I'm making a 1:3 map and I'm not sure what values I should use for 'bcg_size_x[]' and 'bcg_size_y[]' in 'editor_data.sii'

The values for bcg_size_# are in meters. So you have to know the real life dimensions of your background map first (in meters) and then divide it by the scale factor (in your case 3).

I have a little question. I´m interessted in Mapping a huge sized New York Map and add it somehow to Coast to Coast (mod).
The Mapping itself is not the problem (i´ve learned to work with the editor) but how do i add it to the coast to coast mod ?
Is it possible to create a new map and import it later to the coast to coast mod/map or do i have to edit the coast to coast map itself ?
thx in addition guys, i cant wait to start mapping

I think you have to place Coast to Coast map in mod folder and then run the editor. You'll be able to add things to that map then. (if it's allowed by creator of that map!).
