Volcano activity is mostly below gletchers and rare
Geysir and Strokkur is only reachable on trekking trips, and not visible from main roads afaik

That's not entirely true. Strokkur is visible from road but there is no truck traffic around that area.

Indeed, they're both right next to the road, I've been there myself and seen Strokkur go off, every 8 minutes or so Most reliable geyser in the world.

I've been looking through the thread and the improvements to Iceland look great!

We have left the mountains for a while and reached a more plain area.
Been there IRL? hopefully you have can recognize some areas!

If we would release it now, people wouldn't be coming very far with their trucks, or due to very large gaps in scenery, or due to the invisible wall hell
